"What i believe to be the

purpose of paintings and

formative art is...."

I have remained faithful to the visual arts to discover the possibilities and limits of representing 3D in 2D.

I have been under the impression that the purpose of formative art is to create an expansion in two-dimension.

The painting contains the place, the place includes the existence that gives a meaning and value to it. This existence means reality, realization and weight of being. It also means relationships between two objects, such as depth represented by the oblique that includes four-dimensional movement.

Drawing the place is drawing the air in this place. hence it is necessary for the artist to embody those.

What is drawn on the canvas is not as important as improving the description of the place, to the point that the canvas itself becomes the object. That is the reason why I am passionate about creating a canvas as a three- dimensional piece of art, and later on I imagine myself succeeding in drawing four dimensions, including time and movement.

Recently, avant-garde art (created by people who feel the limits of visual arts so they focus on other senses : smell, hearing and sense of touch but exclude vision in their art works such as video art, environmental art and conceptual art and so on) is considered as a revolution. However, not many of their works can be viewed as truly progressive and highly qualified art. I query the fact of changing the style of art works as the right way to activate new representation of the place.

Representing what trouble one's mind on a canvas is the best way to start solving them, and is the best challenge of all in my opinion.
